Ken is an accomplished comedian, improviser, actor, performer and writer.
The James Brown of improv, Ken performs on a regular basis as a cast member of Theatresports, Pad Set and with his Harold team “Away From the Numbers” at Bad Dog Theatre.
He also performs through The Impatient Theatre Company with his Harold Incubator team “Nakatomi Protocol” and was a finalist in 2008 ITC’s long form improv competition Cagematch with his team “What Would Jesus Do?”
Ken’s television and Internet credits include a fully improvised webseries on behalf of H&R Block (www.refundroadtrip.ca) as well as being a top 6 finalist to represent Toronto for CBC’s The Second City’s Next Comedy Legend. Ken has also appeared in a variety of independent movies and won People’s Choice Award for INspiraTO’s Third Annual Toronto Ten Minute Play Festival.
Ken performs sketch comedy with his sketch troupe The Assembly on a bi-weekly basis opening for The Sketchersons’ “Sunday Night Live” Show at The Comedy Bar.
As a graduate of Second City’s Conservatory Program Ken has studied and coached improv teams at Impatient Theatre Company and Bad Dog Theatre. Ken has also studied with such greats as Charna Halpern (IO), Joe Bill (IO), Rich Talarico (SNL, Mad TV), Jill Bernard (ComedySportz-Twin Cities), Curtis Gwinn (UCB), Zach Ward (D.S.I.) and last summer studied at The Upright Citizen’s Brigade in New York City.
