KEN HALL (cast):

Ken is an accomplished comedian, improviser, actor, performer and writer.


The James Brown of improv, Ken performs on a regular basis as a cast member of Theatresports, Pad Set and with his Harold team “Away From the Numbers” at Bad Dog Theatre.
He also performs through The Impatient Theatre Company with his Harold Incubator team “Nakatomi Protocol” and was a finalist in 2008 ITC’s long form improv competition Cagematch wit h his tea m “What Would Jesus Do?”

Ken’s television and Internet credits include a fully improvised webseries on behalf of H&R Block (www.refundroadtrip.ca) as well as being a top 6 finalist to represent Toronto for CBC’s The Second City’s Next Comedy Legend. Ken has also appeared in a variety of independent movies and won People’s Choice Award for INspiraTO’s Third Annual Toronto Ten Minute Play Festival.

 Ken performs sketch comedy with his sketch troupe The Assembly on a bi-weekly basis opening for The Sketchersons' “Sunday Night Live” Show at The Comedy Bar.

As a graduate of Second City’s Conservatory Program Ken has studied and coached improv teams at Impatient Theatre Company and Bad Dog Theatre.  Ken has also studied with such greats as Charna Halpern (IO), Joe Bill (IO), Rich Talarico (SNL, Mad TV), Jill Bernard (ComedySportz-Twin Cities), Curtis Gwinn (UCB),  Zach Ward (D.S.I.) and last summer studied at The Upright Citizen’s Brigade in New York City.

ISAAC KESSLER (cast): 

Much like Ken, Isaac is also an accomplished comedian, improviser, actor, performer and writer.

 Isaac Kessler is the “Michael Jackson” of improv, minus the bad stuff.  His theatrical journey began at the Second City with Kate Ashby, which led to his eventual graduation from the Second City Conservatory program.  He has also trained at the Bad Dog Theatre, and performs there with his Harold team, “Away From The Numbers”.

Isaac teaches and performs improv at the Impatient Theatre Company.  You can see him on stage weekly with his fast and furious ITC Harold team “Standards & Practices”, who recently did their thing in front of a sell out crowd at the Chicago Improv Festival.

In 2008, Isaac performed with his sketch troupe “Toronto On Top” in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival – the world’s third largest comedy festival.  He also pe rforms sketch comedy with Etched In Sketch on a bi-weekly basis opening for The Sketchersons’ “Sunday Night Live” show at The Comedy Bar. In one of his more revealing moments, Isaac starred in “Sprout This!” - An improvised short film directed by Brian Smith that his garnered almost 200,000 views on the website Atom.com. Throughout the years, Isaac has been privileged to study under improv luminaries such as:  Jerry Schaefer and Sandy Jobin-Bevans (Second City), David Shore and Lisa Merchant (Bad Dog Theatre), Bill Arnett (iO Chicago), Porter Mason (UCB NY), Craig Cackowski (iO West), Armando Diaz (Magnet Theater), Rich Talarico (SNL, Mad TV), Dave Razowsky (Second City Chicago, Steppenwolf Theatre), Kevin Patrick Robbins (ITC), and Todd Stashwick (The Riches, Hot House Theatre).  He has also studied at the Annoyance Theater in Chicago under improv masters Susan Messing, Rich Sohn, Rebecca Sohn, Mark Sutton, and Mick Napier.

MARK ANDRADA (Director):

Mark Andrada: Favourite theatre credits include; Tat in "The Hollow -A Clown Play"(Canstage), Skeeter in "Co-ed Prison Sluts...The Musical!" (Second City Toronto, *Canadian Comedy Award Nomination -Best Male Stage Performance), Felix in "Expiry Dating" (2007 Fringe Festival New Play Contest Winner), the Green Arrow in "Super Real Life" (QP/Chris Bond). Selected TV/film credits include; Man of the Year, Fever Pitch (20th Century Fox), Wonderfalls (Fox), Rick Mercer Report (CBC). Lighting Design Credits include; "Neri Flyme on the Theory of Everything" (Small Battalion), Sunday Night Live! (The Sketchersons), Blastback Babyzap (Uncalled For, 2008 Fringe), and over 25 different productions of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat" (seriously). As a Director; "The Upside Down Widow" (Playground Theatre, Chicago), "40 Minutes On The Wood" (Blood Puppet Theatre, Calgary/Toronto), Hard Headed Woman (*2007 Canadian Comedy Award winner - Best Solo Show). Mark was also a Superstar of the W.S.W. Mascot Wrestling Association, is a regular performer for Zero Gravity Circus "Lunacy Cabaret", Co-Founded the Legendary Improv Company PROJECTproject, and is one half of performance comedy improv duo 10,000 to flight. Mark studied Clown, Buffon, and Physical Theatre at the S.P.A.C.E. in Toronto, and improv at the Annoyance Theatre in Chicago, and more Clown at The Clown Conservatory in San Francisco.
